If you're a stressed caregiver who feels at the end of your rope, you’re in the right place.
Whether you're:
A new mom who is feeling anxious and overwhelmed
A spouse caring for a partner with dementia, Alzheimer's, a TBI, or other cognitive issue
An adult child caring for an aging parent and feeling frazzled
A parent, sibling, spouse, or friend acting as caregiver to a loved one with a disability
I can help.
Together, we can create a realistic plan, transform old, unhelpful messages, and cultivate new approaches to a more positive mental health mindset for you.
It's normal for caregivers to experience:
Burnout/stress
High emotions
Feelings of resentment
Overwhelm
Isolation/loneliness
Guilt/shame for feeling any or all of the above
“Caregiving often calls us to lean into love we didn’t know possible.”
– Tia Walker
In my work as a case manager many years ago, I had the privilege of working closely with many caregivers. And in my clinical work at the Veterans Administration, I had clients who were caregivers.
To me, caregivers are heroes.
It's a pleasure to be able to give back to the people who give so much of themselves, taking care of others.
